First Aid - draft guidance document available for comment

Based on early feedback, HSE has made some changes to the draft guidance to the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.  The consultation document is available on the HSE web site. 

HSE issue new leaflet on Oxygen use in the workplace

This leaflet provides guidance for anyone using oxygen gas cylinders in the workplace. It describes the hazards from using oxygen and the precautions to take when using oxygen equipment.

European Commission propose significant reduction in F-gases

Emissions of F-gases, which have a warming effect up to 23,000 times more powerful than carbon dioxide, have risen by 60% since 1990 while all other greenhouse gases have been reduced. The proposed revision of the F-gas Regulation aims to reduce F-gas emissions by two-thirds of today's levels by 2030.
